Street Fighter IV Coming to PC later

Capcom have confirmed to IGN that Street Fighter IV will be releasing this winter (our summer).

What it is interesting is that the PC version is only going to be released after the console version. Now, is this only because they will need to port it over to the PC (Don’t they have a “export from Xbox 360 to PC” button?), or is it because they are pulling an EndWar maneuver and releasing it later to avoid piracy.

We have no confirmation as yet but will follow up when we hear more.

  1. It’s even more strange to see a fighting game coming to the PC 😯

Considering the dev platform is PC, it may well be the latter.

The last worthwhile fighting game that I can recall being on PC was Guilty Gear. That was a long time ago. 😛

I actually find this ironic (the bring it later to PC because of piracy), if you look at how quickly Fable 2, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3 and GOW2 was leaked on the XBox…
