Street Fighter Movie – Japanese Trailer

So much can already be said about this movie, even though it has not yet been released.

Why, oh why has no one thought of making the lead character, err, umm, I dunno… Ryu. Yes, sex does sell and Kristen Kreuk is quite a hotty but seriously, you know what sells more? That’s right, movies that don’t completely suck.

This trailer is just more proof to me that the people in charge of making game-to-movie adaptions may actually be getting thicker by the minute. The good news is that it seems as though some other projects may have potential, but just like the comic book movie industry used to be, it will be a while until people start understanding how to translate the characters and stories to a movie screen.
