Hey! Hey you! Yeah I see you, putting that copy of Sunset Overdrive away. LET ME SEE THOSE HANDS, DON’T MOVE! Ahem. Sunset Overdrive is currently one of my favourite new IPs of this generation, filling in that gap to bounce around city rooftops while dressed like a garish 1980s washed up pop star. By now though, you’ve long finished all the content in the game. Fortunately, there’s some new DLC on the way.
As Xbox’s Larry Hyrb revealed in the video above (while finally keeping regular host Brandon Winfrey quiet), The Mystery of Mooil Rig DLC will have players engaging in a turf war between pissed off rig workers and new aquatic Overcharge mutants. It’ll have the usual challenges, as well as some brand new story missions. And some handy dandy new H2OH yeah bro movement.
Players can now water dive in and out of the ocean, while water slam bounce looks like a very wet version of the Shoryuken attack. Basically, the new moves will be used to chain new combos together, to be more seamless since the new content and hub is restricted to offshore activities. There’ll also be new Chaos Squad missions, weapons and amps to play around with.
Of course, there is a catch to all of this. It’s all part of the season pass content, which’ll cost ya extra. The new content drops in on December 23. Hopefully, the second DLC update sheds more light on the Egyptian Wizard Wars of the 1800s. That’s the kind of history that actually interests me!

GHASP!! I Know right!? it actually does work and I have no log in or driving issues at all. the dynamic weather is bloody good though. buuuuut and there is a big but: the only reason I am playing it is bec I paid for it and its money wasted already but I want to finish all the tour stuff. then it can gather dust on my HD. and as a major sony guy for the past 20 years: Forza Horizon 2 kicks its ass! well that and monopoly,snakes and ladders and retro mario…basically everything anyway

I think if the release dates where reversed there would be more XBOX gamers. Seeing how the XBOX only released in September here whereas the PS4 released December last year. 9 months is enough time for a new fanboy to be born.
