Take a look at Cross Platform Play with the PlayStation Vita

Vitacrossplay

We’ve discussed the Vita’s ability to stream content back and forth to and from the PlayStation 3 before; it’s a pretty nifty feature – one-upping Nintendo’s Wii U before it’s even out of the gate. Sony’s put out a trailer detailing just how it’ll all work; not only will you be able to use the Vita as a controller for your PS3, but you’ll be able to use remote play to send your PS3 games to your Vita; making extended toilet breaks…awesome. With games like Wipeout 2048, you’ll even be able to play head to head – with one person playing on the PS3 and the other using the handheld.

Here, take a look!

Capcom’s already jumping on the feature;

According to Andriasang, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 will allow players to sync up their Vitas for use as a controller -  allowing you to use touch screen controls in the mayhem-filled fighter. Much like the implementation in Street Fighter IV 3DS, you‘ll be able to assign up to four moves to the vita’s touch screen – even though that’s cheating, really. You will also be able to play replays on the Vita’s screen, share videos online, display your button presses and – and this is a big thing for enthusiasts -  show your characters’ hit boxes on the Vita.

Sexy.
