Take a look at the latest Assassin’s Creed Unity trailer

Zoe and Darryn were really busy at E3. When they weren’t at meetings and showcases, they were getting some hands-on time with the best upcoming titles. If they liked it, it got nominated, with a nice sticker claiming space on said game’s booth. This happened with Assassin’s Creed Unity, which is why we’re now in their latest gameplay trailer.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is a bit of a risk for Ubisoft, namely because they’ve opted to go full on next-gen with the title. There’s no PS3 or Xbox 360 release, which has allowed Ubisoft to really push what they can do in terms of visuals and scale. It really shows, and it’s one of the reasons why it won out “Best New Generation Game” award from E3. The same award which is featured near the end of the video above.

The trailer itself is just a quick introduction to the French Revolution you’ll be thrown into, voiced over by none other than Arno. Is it just me, or does he not sound French…at all? There’s more stabbing, even more heads on pikes and another look at the game’s overhauled parkour system, which I’m most excited about.

Assassin’s Creed Unity is tweaking the franchise experience quite a bit. There’s a new dedicated stealth button, more fluid movement and more buildings to explore inside. During an interview at E3, creative director Alex Amancio detailed these feature’s a little more, explaining how most of them originated from fan requests and feedback. You can check that out below, along with a little more gameplay.

Assassin’s Creed Unity will be released on October 28th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Funny enough, the lyrics to Another Universe from Arno Carstens suite this game

    We’re invisible alive
We’re the whispers in the scream
We’re not living in the west
And we’re not coming from the east
    Sharp is the knife
    Alive is the night

Hopefully Ubisoft have learned from Watchdogs when it comes to the PC version. I believe this is how the master race sees the console port

No, I thought the game featured a black girl, not a white guy? Or did I miss out on something?

That was Assassin’s Creed Liberation for the Vita (later ported to consoles). This one features lots of white dudes.
