If you’ve read my hands-on preview, you’d know that Deus Ex : Human Revolution is easily on of my most eagerly anticipated titles of the year. Developed by Eidos Montreal, this third game in the series acts as a prequel to the first. What struck me especially is how the game, despite the changes in tech and, indeed developers, manages to retain the feel of the original. It also reminded me of the rather excellent Vampire The Masquerade : Bloodlines.
Right now, I’m wholly convinced that it’s GOTY material. Here’s an in-depth look at the world of Deus Ex: Human Revolution presented by the developers where they give you and overview of the world of Deus Ex, what’s happening and why. Maybe it’ll convince you too.
Deus Ex Human Revolution will be released locally for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on August 26.
