A few months ago a BBC correspondent posted an article on the BBC blog about an unnamed PS3 game that was going to blow us all away. In his own words
If the footage I was shown truly is "in game", as told to me by the Sony PR people, then we could be on the brink of a step change in what games consoles are capable of in terms of story-telling and immersion.
So now that E3 has come and gone have we seen this mysterious game?
Well you would be forgiven to think that he was talking about MAG, which has the potential to be a groundbreaking experience, but that’s not the one he was talking about.
To his suprise it wasn’t announced at E3 this year and he is still under NDA so he can’t talk about it.
Possibly it will be announced at the Tokyo Game Show and Microsoft knows it, which is why they delayed the Bungie news and motion controller until that event?

Hmmm, forgive me for being sceptical we’ll have to see about all this. Maybe an uncharted sequel? Though I doubt it’ll generate the hype as much as a halo game. As long as it’s not another generic FPS I suppose. Not that I have a problem with the SP of all these FPS’s. MY problem lies with the MP. All of them seem pretty cool for MP. You have BF which obviously has MP written all over it. You still have COD4. Imo MGO turned out to be pretty damn good for a MP game. You’ll have resistance, killzone2 and MAG. The main reason I dropped R700 on GTA4 was for the MP which looked cool. Haven’t really even touched the MP yet. There’s just not enough time for me to really get stuck into all the MP games. And when I have some time, it’s a damn confusing decision as to which one I should play.
So ya, if it exists, hopefully it’s a SP focussed game and not a generic FPS…

That Ngai dude (However you spell it) on one of the recent Bonusround episodes also said that sony should have shown “that” title instead of MAG at the end of E3.
Theres a allot of speculation that it could be “Heavy Rain” since it is definatly a “story driven” game and was supposedly one of the behind closed door titles at E3.

Heavy Rain was shown behind closed doors at E3, numerous journalists were wowed by it.
