That Resident Evil Mercenaries save file is resettable

I’m sure Capcom’s not loving the fact that the story about the un-resettable, or single play, Resident Evil Mercenaries isn’t going away. At least they announced yesterday that it wasn’t ever planned as a means to stunt second hand sales and that they promise to never do it again.

But what about the people who already have the game and want to reset it? Well we have a solution for you.

It’s not a great solution but it apparently works, all you need to do is go out and buy a device called the NDS Adaptor Plus which was apparently designed to back up save files from DS and 3DS titles to a PC.

This will then also reset the card back to it’s factory defaults and you’ll be free to sell the game without your awesome, or not so awesome, high scores.

The only problem, it costs $40 and you’re not going to make that money back selling your clean game back.
