Triss (4)

I’m not even going to sully this post with a wordy intro. Because this Triss cosplay from The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings, pretty much speaks a thousand words of awesome.

I swear, it’s as if Triss jumped out of the game and into real life. But then again, that’s what some dedication and a great model will do, as this cosplay by Jessica Dru which was designed by Manzi DeYoung will do. Hell, the suit was even used by CD Projekt Redd for promotional events. Now that’s how you know a costume is a winner. Check out the photos below from Greg De Stefano.

Just…damn. I’m impressed at the detail and authenticity here. I truly am. And now I know I could never pull off a Triss costume at that level. Doesn’t mean that I won’t try however.

she just doesnt look how i imagined her.
honestly, that looks more like a ginger Ciri, rather than how they described Triss in the books.
Tight pants and combat boots? its more of a “geralt please look at me” look rather than the “I WANNA BE LIKE YENEFFER” look she had in the books.

should probably get to finishing the 3rd book though.

    dat ass tho.

Gh’well … The witches/sorceresses in the books are ( I think in book 1 already ) described as the “Not so pleasant on the eyes” ( not actual quote from the book ) which has been beautified by magic :/

Still, thanks for including a name … for er… research purposes…

most of the enchantresses altered their looks with magic, yeah.
point was, this Triss looks alot more warriorish than I imagined. i took her for more of a frilly dress and cloak girl.

I just needed someone who has read the books to read my comment and affirm my statement ( I’m a correctness-whore like that 😛 ), hence replying to your comment 🙂

Have to agree though, based on my limited knowledge on the subject at hand, I’d say Ciri has to more warriorish look and not Triss ( as you rightfully said in the initial comment 😀 )

haha, ive read some of the books, halfway through time of contempt atm(book 3), and im still not sure where these games are supposed to fit in. or how they made a game out of them in the first place.

these games are a free continuation that happens after any of the books. and sapkowski doesn’t consider them canon

aye, figured that much since i posted this.

point was just that the books didnt really have a specific story, the first two books felt entirely like a setup, something that started to show up in the 3rd book.
