The biggest problem with the Wii according to Nintendo is a misconception

HardcoreWii

The most common complaint about the Wii is that it doesn’t have any real hardcore games and cannot rally satisfy that true gaming desire.

Nintendo however thinks this is a misconception and points to the fact that you will be able to get a AAA title next month to satisfy any hardcore gaming desires.

Honestly I disagree, the Wii doesn’t fulfil that hardcore gaming segment and really shouldn’t even try.

You are never going to get the awesome experience of Mass Effect 2 or Killzone on a Wii but at the same time you won’t Super Mario Bros or real party games on the PS3 or 360, they compliment each other and if you have a Wii you will need a hardcore console.

And if you don’t have a Wii yet you are missing out on some stellar titles.

But for fun you can get Super Monkey Ball, Rayman Rabbids, Super Smash Bros and Mario kart… doh.. sorry

There’s tonnes of party games on the other consoles.
Fight Night, FIFA, Castle Crashers, Guitar Hero 4/5.

Lips and Guitar Hero I would agree with.

The rest well I am not sold personally… people love the interactiveness of the Wii

But everyone’s got their own opinions on party games I guess

I personally am looking forward to Red Steel 2 but if their argument is they have one coming next month then what am I to do this month!?!?

There are “hardcore” games for the wii buy why buy the conduit when you can by Modern Warfare 2 or deadly creatures when you can play Gears 2 and kill some locusts. The gimmick has worn off – with natal and the wand coming Nintendo better have a gold plated rabbit that makes coffee in the morning and can get you a date with Megan Fox to pull out their hat cause they definitely won’t get my support again.
