The Witcher 3 (3)

Let’s face the facts here. Thanks to a recent games sale based on seasonal climates by a certain other company, your bank account ain’t looking so great right now. And while googling how to make dog food palatable, you’re probably still going to want some more games for the collection. Well good news then, because there’s more than one place that has some specials up.

F.E.A.R Complete Pack

Games are evil, we get that. And if you want to scare your kids straight off of them, why not choose from the F.E.A.R franchise? The best bit though, is that the actual games are decent action romps once you get over having to almost claw your eyeballs out when that damn spooky child surprises you yet again.

They’re also the kind of game which offers a lot of bang for your visual buck, without taxing your PC too much in return. All three are on sale now.

Diapers not included.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition

Think that games these days are bloated projects with far too much cash and flash, and happen to have very little substance to sustain those ambitions? Well a certain swords and sorcery  fantasy game from a small Polish studio is the exception to that rule.

One of the best games of 2011 is getting a sequel soon, but if you’ve yet to experience the journey of Geralt of Rivia, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is about as good as any place to start. Gorgeous, lengthy and most importantly, intelligent, it’s the kind of game that everyone should play at least once in their life.

Tropico 4 Collectors Bundle

El Presidente! If there’s one thing that those decadent Western games don’t have, it’s an iron grip on the populace and a cult following that has seen this gem of a title remain a firm favourite over the years.

If you’ve ever wondered if you could be a better president that your duly elected politician, then this is the game that’ll put you to the test. There’s a nation to run, ministers to recruit as you rise to power and a revolucion or two to squash along the way.

Combined with Twitter and Facebook integration that allows everyone to know just how benevolent you are as a leader, or without mercy depending on your playstyle, Tropico 4 taxes the mind as you navigate your ascension to highest office in the land. Viva El Presidente!

Remember, Gamers Gate games are hosted on Mweb servers, so for once, locals get to enjoy download speeds that make the concept of buying games online actually worthwhile and more convenient than heading outside into the cold to a bricks and mortar games shop.

Doooode…. Witcher is one of those rare games that requires you to think… It does not hold your hand, does not mark a bloody berry on the map a mile away, and will kick you in the Teeth if you do not prepare for battle properly… The game is hard….hard and Addictive… And that is exactly why you SHOULD get it…. Go on… be a man….

Ok so I bought a lot of awesome games on the place that shall not be mentioned. Downloaded most of them already it was like 100GB.

Wound up playing the free games called Dota 2 and Planetside2. Special mention also goes to Faster Than Light which is somehow awesome.
