The Hit List – Top 5 Most Excessively Violent Video Games

Video games. Violence. Somewhere out there, a politician is experiencing a rush of blood to his primary brain as he puts those words together to form a single semi-coherent rant that will get him elected. But video game violence ain’t going anywhere! In fact, it’s getting even grislier than before, dipping into excess. Here’s a video of five games that we found exceptionally gory. So if you’re under 18 and don’t have an upchuck bucket with you, I’d recommend not watching the video. For reals.

Woo boy, I hope you guys didn’t eat before watching. Naturally, some of you my disagree with the list. Please feel free to comment below about how I was catastrophically wrong with each and every entry as soon as you get back from the bathroom.

Eish. That’s about the same level as The Raid 2(if you haven’t, watch it).

Yeah, Manhunt is absolutely on the list of top 5 most gratuitously violent.

I actually re-installed Manhunt 1 & 2 recently, still way too much fun.

I also think The Punisher did torture before GTA V…

I think implied violence is much, much worse than excessive gore. For example: I regard the scene in A Clockwork Orange when the gang beat up the old man as the most violent thing that has ever been shown on screen.

It is funny how video games haven’t caught on yet…
