As promised earlier today, the new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home is here. Also as promised, this is definitely not something you want to watch if you haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame yet! From the opening seconds of the trailer, it gives away one of the major plot points from Marvel’s box office record-smashing behemoth, so if you haven’t seen it yet, then turn away now because there are SPOILERS INCOMING!

For the rest of us, check out the preview for ol’ Webhead’s latest adventure below!

HOLY CRAP! The rumours were true and Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury really just introduced Jake Gyllenhaal’s Quentin Beck/Mysterio as being from another world. Yes, like I postulated this morning, this could all be part of Mysterio’s plan of misdirection which is kind of the classic comic book character’s thing. That being said, Nick Fury just outright referred to the “multiverse” and even blatantly said that the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame “tore a hole in our dimension” and my fanboy theory senses are tingling overtime! Damn, right Spider-Man’s far from home! He’s going to another universe!

If this isn’t just a red herring, then the evidence mounts massively to support the theory that it will be a mutiversal conflict that serves as the overarching plot for the Marvel Cinematic Universe from here on out. And I can’t wait to geek out about it!

Spider-Man: Far From Home was written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers and with Jon Watts returning to the director’s chair. The superhero sequel also stars Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, Numan Acar, J.B. Smoove, Oli Hill, Remy Hii, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, and Cobie Smulders. It is scheduled for release 2 July 2019.

Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!

        Ah okay then here goes

Found it interesting in all the plothole talk on the timelines people are ignoring the point that the stones keep the timeline from splitting. So all the back and forth is covered and anomalies is covered and is specifically Thanos snapping the stones themselves into oblivion that caused the rip in the time space continuum.

Thanos wormholling to the future is still a writers fookup IMHO.

          Not really.

They make it pretty clear that any change to the past just splits into a new reality. And they do not use the Back to the future/Butterfly effect theories.

So the movie actually created 3 new realities when they went on their time trips.

          1) One where Loki escaped with the space stone and is now currently alive an well (Seeing as we are getting a Loki Disney+ TV series and all)
          2) One where Thanos left his timeline and the Infinity War/End Game events never happened.
          3) The old man Steve one where he got to live his life with Peggy. (The Russos even confirmed that he lived in an alternate universe and grew old there)

And none of the above timelines have any affect in the current “main MCU” timeline.

Kinda like DBZ where Trunks left his timeline to warn Goku and them about the Androids, and his timeline was still the same apocalyptic future.

Then what was that whole ghost Banner fancy Dr Strange mystic lady explanation for?

Ie put the stone back at the origin and the split off disappear.

Yes, the split occurred because they made a change to that timeline it’s not specific to the stone. Same as the changes to the Loki and Old Man Steve timelines, and the one where Thanos left to go to the future.

She just said that removing the stone would cause a dark timeline for her reality as they would not have anything to protect themselves with against the likes of Dormammu. By returning the stone at that point, or just after it will allow Dr. Strange to beat Dormammu in that reality.

There is still a bit of a split as this was done in the same timeline where Loki got away.

But what if this Mysterio is actually a good guy? He is from an alternate universe after all.
