Naruto-manga

The Naruto manga, is over. 700 chapters, a post-Shinobi World War arc and that’s it folks. That’s all that creator and artist Masashi Kishimoto wrote. So what’s next for Kishimoto? More ninjas, hidden villages and wars that last years and hundreds of pages? Not quite.

Because right now, Kishimoto is getting ready to unleash something new in the world of Japanese comics. Something that he hopes will be even bigger than Naruto.

Speaking in a recent Japanese magazine interview (via Anime Matome), Kishimoto spoke about how his days of weekly manga stories were over. And when you’ve written, pencilled and spear-headed a franchise on a schedule that would reduce most people to tears, you kind of get the mindset here.

“That’s definitely not happening,” Mishimoto said about returning to the weekly grind before adding that “I do feel like drawing manga.”

When quizzed about his future plans, Kishimoto revealed that he was interested in the digital publication Shonen Jump Plus, a format that would allow him more freedom with regards to the amount of work that he could submit, as well as a more fluid deadline for projects and chapters.

So what manga is this? One set in the realm of science-fiction apparently. “I’ve already decided what I’m doing for my next work,” Kishimoto said.

While I was still doing Naruto, I thought about various things for material, and for the next one, I’m thinking I’m going to do science-fiction. It hasn’t all been worked out, and I haven’t showed my editor yet, but I’ve already designed the characters.

The new comic will also introduce audiences to a new kind of protagonist, one that Kishimoto says audiences won’t be able to imagine accurately. “Since Naruto was a bigger hit than I could ever imagine,” Kishimoto said, “I’d like to aim for the next hit.

I don’t know when I can announce the next manga, but because I plan on challenging myself to surpass Naruto, please wait for it.

Hey, after 15 years, I’m also ready for a change. Speaking of a Kishimoto, check out Seishi Kishimoto’s Sukedachi Nine. It’s a rather solid series, with a gritty contemporary feel to it. Sort of like Battle Royale meets the Punisher.

Yeah! we all know that it is an open secret as to how kishi is going to exceed our expectation…that is by creating more excellent yaoi’s content in his next work! Regard to his next ‘great’ sci fi’s BS, is he going to create his work like this http://www.fascinations.com , or just like this http://www.sneakyuses.com and maybe even making an sketchbook like this 😀 http://www.laurenceking.com/en/my-crazy-inventions-sketchbook-50-awesome-drawing-activities-for-young-inventors

Wow! So Kishimoto is going to carry on drawing manga in sci fi style! Can he make an excellent scientific story just like what this gnome has written below, or is he going to enjoy disgracing himself and his fellow associates and still think he is doing an good job?!!

Perpetual motion – does it exist?

For hundreds of years, humans and gnomes have tried to invent a machine that could go on working forever. Let’s see what one wise gnome said about perpetual motion.

‘I have travelled the world from east to west, visiting one court after another. I have had the pleasure and good fortune to see one of the oldest designs for a perpetual motion machine. The inventor of the machine shown below, told me that: “When the wheel is spinning, the weights on the right will always be further from the centre of the wheel than those on the left”. He believed that because the right side would always be heavier than the left, the wheel would never stop turning. But I didn’t believe him.’

‘He was correct in saying that the weights on the right side are always farthest away from the centre of the wheel. But he didn’t realise that the number of weights on the right will always be less than the number of weights on the left. And that means the wheel will soon stop turning.’

The gnome was called Bengasi-gnomonius, and he drew this sketch in the year 1324 (the year of the square curve according to our gnome calendar).

‘The other perpetual motion machine I saw is shown in the picture on the right. Here the heavy chain runs around a series of wheels. Whatever the position of the chain, the right side always weighs more than the left. The inventor thought that this would make the chain move around the wheel forever, without any human or gnome help. But does this complicated machine work?’

The manuscript of Bengasi-gnomonius ends here, so we cannot be sure whether his experiment was successful.

So will the main leading female character in Kishimoto’s future sci fi manga finally be an sexy and skillful heroine or she is just another version of the same outstanding in being inferior, sideline and lovesick damsel in distress character?
