imageSo have you ever felt like torturing yourself but have an adverse reaction to physical pain?

Yeah me neither, but I do know some people who deserve a bit of pain and suffering and if they have a Xbox 360 I now have the perfect list of presents for them.

About.com has put together a lost of the top 10 worst Xbox 360 games made so far and even though the console is quite new we have some awful titles available.

So to the list…

1. Two Worlds

Awful graphics? Check. Awful sound. Check. Horrible controls and gameplay? Check. The only fresh feature completely broken (online play)? Check. Two Worlds is an absolute failure in just about every respect on the Xbox 360. Don’t play it. Don’t wish it on your worst enemies. Just ignore it.

2. Bomberman: Act Zero
3. Jumper: Griffin’s Story
4. Hour of Victory (this was one of my worst ever)
5. Sonic the Hedgehog
6. Vampire Rain
image 7. NFL Tour
8. NASCAR 08
9. Blacksite: Area 51 (to be reviewed soon 🙁 )
10. Def Jam ICON

So what is the worst game you have ever played on the Xbox 360? Did it make the list?

Add PDZ to that list. That game almost made the 360 look bad.

Most of these are pretty good (read: accurate) picks, according to Metacritic. I disagree with Def Jam Icon being on the list though. It wasn’t great but it definitely wasn’t terrible.

It would be nice to see such a list of Wii games although considering the huge amount of crap on it, it might be tough to limit it to only 10 games.

For the Wii list you just take the whole catalogue and remove all the first party Ninetendo titels 😉

Erz, nah, it’s not necessary, we’ve got them all memorized for flamewar fuel 😉

Some of these games are really old. Just goes to show how long the 360 has been around.

I’d like to add Assassin’s Creed to that list.

I wouldn’t say aweful, just shallow. Beautiful, but shallow.

@OddSock, I think it may be overly harsh to add Assassin’s Creed to this list.

    Some games I would add
    Soldier of Fortune
    Medal of Honor: Airborne
    Space Giraffe (XBLA)
    Dynasty Warriors

Fortunately, i’ve only played the demo of 1 of the above. Sonic, man that was bad!

I loved Assassins Creed… so much in fact that it would go on the top 10 of my favourite games across all platforms… different strokes for different fokes I guess….

Maybe a a movie game is exempt as “de facto c@rpola” 😉

Actually it wasn’t that bad, I was expecting a lot worse.

funny thing about that list is the game “Sonic the Hedgehog” can’t even be bought locally in SA (not for the Xbox 360 at least), I’m not sure whether that’s a good or bad thing, as I’ve personally been a big fan of the series for years :/
