I always do worry a little when a game is released with no accompanying demo, if I had my way it would be a mandatory requirement to release a game on a platform.
But unfortunately I don’t and the next big title to be released demo-less is going to be Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.
The bad news was confirmed in a Q&A session when the firms VP of Strategic Planning, Christian Svensson, stated
“Sorry, but zero percent (of a demo),â€
“As with Street Fighter IV, there will be no demo for Marvel vs. Capcom 3.â€
He also went on to confirm that you will need to pay for new DLC characters because that is part of their business strategy for this title and it is the difference between making it a profitable or non-profitable title.
