Nothing warms my heart more than seeing an older generation getting into gaming. Hell, my own dad happens to be a grandmaster at Burnout games, while I may have gotten my grandma hooked on Pokémon, seeing how she eyes my 3DS lately. And speaking of grandmas, here’s one who happens to be over the moon with the VR reviver, the Oculus Rift.
Imagiminds Paul Pivot, via Gizmodo, strapped an Oculus Rift onto his 90 year old grandmother and recorded the following sweet reactions from the pensioner in the process.
Honestly though? I’d also like one of those damn headsets, just so that I can get my VR nostalgia on. The Rift is still going through a teething phase right now though, with Kickstarter backers receiving their kits last month.
Regular consumers are going to have to wait just a bit longer though, as it looks like a shelf version of the Rift will only be out in 2014.

I’m sorry, but that still seems a little bulky and seems like it would give one neck spasms.

God, you say VR, I shudder, and then have to find eyedrops to get over the psychosomatic pain induced by the virtualboy.
