Bad+Sportsmanship

While we expect good sportsmanship from athletes, it’s not generally something that we see in the cutthroat world of business. Competition can make the difference between a company going under or being a huge success. So it made me incredibly happy to see this exchange between MS and Sony.

This is what it’s all about. Both companies are excited about their products. Sure, they’re competing, but without that competition this whole launch would be so boring. Well done to Microsoft and Sony – show the world that you can be on opposing teams and still have respect for each other. Now, if only some of the console warring fanboys could learn from this.

Meanwhile, the Kaz Hirai parody account has been making us laugh this morning:

All in all, nice to see some positive attitudes and interactions in the midst of this launch period. Of course, all that will be undone when the Black Friday mobs beat each other to a pulp in the US of A.

I laughed at “…, all that will be undone when the Black Friday mobs beat each other to a pulp in the US of A.”

I’m going to an overly warm place when I die aren’t I?

Being Black Friday, such behaviour should be expected. I have an urge to hit someone with a massive purple dildo. You can be the runner. I assault them while you get away with the loot.

Edit: That’s if you don’t already know >_> Sorry, that sounded waaaaay too condescending.

Was waiting for the master race to rear its ugly head! Sigh…I am no PC gamer – never will be. There are games I would love to play but its just too complicated to setup in my very humble opinion.

ALTHOUGH it should be noted that getting onto 360/PS3 can be extremely frustrating in their own right! I curse them long and hard.

“Internet up; internet down”…”You have been logged out”…WHY…SHUT UP!!!!

What the hell does my comment have to do with the master race? Kensei took it there, not me. It was not intended as such, hence my follow-up.

Do people here have no culture? Has nobody read George Orwell?

Sorry Tosh wasnt directed at your George Orwell reply. And yes it was read – many, many years ago.

PS – new here so unsure how comment boxes work quite yet…chill…
