While I’m still a few days away from reviewing Sniper 3, I can at least give you interested would-be marksmen a glimpse into what the game is actually like. Namely horrifically realistic violence counter-balanced to the yakkety-sax tune of the Benny Hill theme. Which makes all those death rattles slightly less unnerving.
Apologies for the glitch from the 21 second to 38 second mark. My current work PC refuses to recognise that content, and will soon be marched to the barracks wall, blindfolded, given a final cigarette and then filled with enough lead to give an alchemist an erection.
Sniper Elite 3 is more than just sniping by the way. A lot more, when compared to the previous game. Expect a review soon as you watch what can only be described as head trauma pornography.

Not really realistic, but looks fun none the less. Like Deer Hunter but with people.
Seems though that you have not reached the skill levels yet to prepare sauerkraut meatballs.

Ok, so I started V2 last night….and apart from the crappy (read REALLY crappy) controls, I’m already bored…

I have to say I started playing V2 myself this weekend and I also find it a tad meh. But I am playing on the easiest setting, so maybe that is my problem….

Playing on standard, but I’m not enjoying it very much tbh

Why yoes say meh? Jonah Cash loves it, it seems like it’s either love it or hate it with this game. I want to buy it but then I’m afraid of wasting my monies.

The movement controls are a shitty port from controller. The sniping is good, really good, but the level design is not very good.
It gets really meh after your 50th sniper kill

That’s the part that I’m afraid of ~ “It gets really meh after your 50th sniper kill”

Have they improved the controls for moving around?

Indeed. The new relocation element adds a challenge combined with the stealth take downs.

The new features and abilities are lekker, “Sound Masking” does adds more to the realism, it’s not a game for COD or BF diehards, it’s a proper sniper game, woot!
I’m feeling like Jude Law in Enemy at the Gate. I’m really enjoying the game, I just wish there were more sort of trick shot / environment kills available.

400M! Nice!
Try keep tabs of your highest shot score, I’m still trying to figure out if it’s worth while incapacitating a baddy first then blowing his head off….
Love it!

Depends what mood i’m in. I am trying to get all the different kill shots, Kidneys, Liver, throat, lungs, testicles etc.
This game has really stepped up, and is finally delivering the goods as a proper sniper game

I will never think of Sniper Elite or Benny Hill the same again.
