Uncharted Drake (1)

I’ve got quite a few action figures. And inaction figures. And some ponies, but the less said the better. But I always need more. And while I’m still trying to figure out how to transform this damn Autobot that I bought on the weekend, it looks like Nathan Drake might soon be joining my collection.

The hero of the Uncharted franchise is back, this time in six inch plastic form. So what’s in the box? Well, for $159.99 you get Drake himself, actual clothing that will not fit your Ken dolls, various accessories, weapons and a giant spider which will be useful in keeping Geoff away from your new possession.

The figure is out in August 2014, so start saving.

  1. The shemagh is truly a glorious thing. I wore it to protect myself in the cold wastelands of Canada and Scandinavia. I even wore it while doing field work in the Karoo and Kalahari, and I even wore it to protect myself in the desert of the Emirates.

Just a pity the hipster scum makes wearing one in the urban areas of South Africa an impossibility. Banana endorses the shemagh as a must have travel item. Wear it as a scarf, wear it as a bandanna. Wear it as a means to conceal your identity during a revolution!

I thought all scarves came with dramatic action? I was under the impression it was a prerequisite and quite literally printed on the label.

The way the shemagh flaps in the wind is a sign of your status as a man. If it flaps vigorously you are a Man of Action!! A force to be reckoned with…. But if it lies limp you are nothing but a spent force, and one that should be fed to the vultures.

Hey Darryn, as an avid collector myself, I have to ask: Where do you buy your action figures from?

Ebay mostly. I’ve picked up some great bargains here and there, as well as on Amazon.

In the one pic his hands are open, the next its clenched. Are you actually able to manipulate the hands on these expensive dolls collectibles?
