Titanfallrelease

Titanfall may just be the COD killer. It’s looking incredible and will certainly help ship a ton of Xbox Ones. But some people won’t be satisfied with just a game – they will want 18 inches (45.72cm) of titan in their lives.

Respawn has given the Titanfall release date, as well as details on a Collector’s Edition that looks stunning. The game will be launching in Europe on 13 March 2014, which means we’ll be getting it 14 March 2014 (assuming the Xbox One has arrived here by then). Their ‘verticality’ approach didn’t end with the game – check out the figurine you can get if you’re a collector!

Titanfall collectors edition

It comes with an art book containing over 190 pages of concept art, a full-size schematic poster of the Atlas titan, but most importantly, it has an 18″ hand-crafted Titan statue with diorama and battery-powered LED lighting. I need that in my life. 18″ of titan, oh yeah!

We also got a new trailer, which shows off that verticality I was talking about. I may not normally be a fan of multiplayer games, but I’m going to have to make an except for Titanfall – this looks seriously impressive. I just can’t get over the scale of this game; it will certainly raise the bar to a whole new level.

I’ve seen this trailer before… is that just because I’ve played the game and been to conferences or is this not new?

    Everyone is saying it’s new?

I have to agree with you. It looks ok, but I still can’t divorce it from CODfishhead. Dead Rising 3 has a better chance of getting me to even consider a bone, but who knows I have this crazy feeling that EA will bring Titanfall to PS4, because.. .well… EA is EA!

This game really looks awesome! And the controls look nice and fluid too. I just hope the entire COD clan doesn’t migrate to this – I’m not a fan of hearing what they did with my mother, etc. etc. over the headset… Why can’t we all just get along? 🙂

Zoe – on a separate note, when are we getting some more “Knock Knock” vids on YouTube? The 3rd episode was great and the game looks really good – very interesting. I’m keen to find out what happens next in the story? 🙂

I look forward to it. 🙂 Looked like the game was starting to hot up – that ghost seems to get closer and closer each day… Looks like it has it in for you! 😉

Is this a FPS? I hope not, cause I am starting to like it and I hate FPS’s.

Just asking, on what do you base this?

This seems to me like someone whose account (facebook, google, whatever) has been borrowed by some people to drum up interest in their legitimate business affair.

Or is this trolling on your part and I missed it entirely?

Will come out eventually on PS4, no doubt. As soon as the studio realises the potential captial gain from making this game cross-platform, its a done deal.
Also, people cant call this the “CoD Killer” if its not on PS4 at all…….

Anyone know if this will be on the 360? I’ve seen it listed as such on some sights for sale… Yet I haven’t read any mention of that edition… Is that just a pipe-dream or perhaps a delayed launch?

The Titanfall Collector’s Edition is a must-have for the true
Titanfall fan. Available for XBOX ONE, Xbox 360 and PC, the Collector’s
Edition is available in very limited quantities and is the ultimate way
to experience what Gamespot calls “The Spiritual Successor to Call of
    Duty”.
