Did you know there was going to be a Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta? Well there is and you can be a part of it by simply buying the awesome looking Bulletstorm.
However there is a catch, you need to buy Bulletstorm on the Xbox 360 (Epic Edition) and not the PS3 or PC. The reasons behind that are pretty obvious since Gears of War 3 is an Xbox 360 exclusive and you will be launching the beta from inside Bulletstorm.
I thoroughly enjoyed Bulletstorm so this isn’t a big deal for me as I would have been getting the game anyway but there is no way I am going to miss the Gears beta.
The original Gears got me back into online gaming after years on the sidelines and I was massively excited for Gears 2 only to be let down by the online section of the game. It just never worked properly.
I am very worried that Gears 3 is going to be worse in an attempt to match the Matrix trilogy and hopefully a public beta will stop that from happening. Only time will tell though.

I don’t, at this point, want Bulletstorm. This is obviously a plot to make that game sell better, but I’ll decide when I get to play a demo of it… And I love Gears, am excited about it, and plan to get it when it comes out. I don’t like having to buy something I may not want to get something small that I do want.
