For anyone out there that has been eagerly waiting for Too Human will be happy to know that it is now officially available on Xbox Live.

That’s right, so unless you want to wait until you get home, call someone, make a plan. That way you can play it as soon as you get back! I have been waiting to try this game out for myself because it seems like it has a lot of potential but I have yet to make a final decision on whether or not its going to be worth parting with some cash for it.

The demo weighs in at 1.09GB, so get started.

Well, played it for a bout a hour.

Not as pretty as Mass Effect, but then again, no load times, at all, ever, not even in the lifts, coz there are no lifts 🙂

Gameplay takes some getting used to, but it is fun.
The camera (I had mine on ‘strategic’) is not as bad as some claimed. Not perfect, but far from bad and after a while it grows on you, like the RS melee.

Story and universe seems really cool to me (then again – janrik is a viking (norse) name…)
I will probably get this, but only if some of my mates also get it, as the SP feels a little like halo 3… not bad but needs some humans to play with to make it a blast.

Too Human is very poor considering it has been in development since God was a lad. The dual stick controls don’t work for me, the bald space marine art style doesn’t work for me, and there’s some hideous slowdown, too. It looks like a Ps2 game upscaled.

Good on Microsoft for releasing a demo, though, so everyone can make there mind up about a game that has been very negatively received in the previews.

I think this game has unfortunately started from a bad place because of the development etc. Everyone expects it to be crap so they go in to it wanting it to fail. I played a bit this morning and it actually looks pretty cool. I haven’t got used to the combat system totally yet but I managed to launch a couple of guys into the air and do some nice combos and that was fun.

This is just a demo so you can’t get the whole feel or understand the story. I was confused by the whole space marine thing but I’m sure that gets explained.

I agree with J4nr1k though that it will be infinitely better with a partner.

um when exactly did you play it, I take it youve put more than ten minutes in to it in order to deduce you point of view. Or no maybe you are one of those magic people that live on the internet that can rate games be seening sceen shots and 2 minute videos!

Yuck. I just wasted my time downloading this turd. The camera is broken, the controls are broken, the environment is dull and the animations are pathetic. The combat is also really dull. Avoid. Lets hope this is just a bad demo and does not represent the final game.

NO, I played the demo to the end.

It sucks. It’s as bad as Kingdom Under Fire, if not worse. What a waste of bandwidth.

I reeeeally want to like this game, and it could actually be fun, but it’s unforgivable error is that the controls just don’t work.

It would be so easy to fix, just attach the camera to the right stick, that’s it!

THey take a little getting used to but once you’ve got the controls down combat’s easy =)

You’ll be launching guys into the air and jumping up to combo them in no time. Have faith!

Heh – yeah I’m actually getting paid to do this =). Kidding obviously.

Seriously though, rampant fanboism aside, I was a little WTF with the controls at first as well. Very disappointed. But I stuck with it and I am now genuinely hooked.

This seems like a love/hate game to be honest and will come down (as always) to personal opinion. My advice is to try the demo (for those who haven’t) before you believe all the positive or negative hype. People went nuts about GTA. I bought it and I thought it was boring. Extremely well done, but boring. but then again, that’s just my opinion. =)
