Ubisoft today announced an awesome looking free-to-play IP, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot. This tower defence/dungeon crawler/point-and-clicker (okay I don’t actually know yet what genre it falls under) looks like a ton of fun and you should really check it out.

So what’s this game about?

In Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, your goal is to defeat as many castles as possible and to protect yours from being murderized. You will go on an adventure to loot bigger and well-defended castles to get the resources you need to build your own lair with awesome creatures and traps and gauntlets in order to prevent other players’ heroes from beating it.

The unusual suspects: classes

The Archer

Name: Blackeye Bowgart

Real Name: Scary Thief

Occupation: Crossbow

Attack Type: Ranged

Demeanor: Surly

With just one application of his signature one-eyed scowl, Blackeye Bowgart can make even an innocent bunny rabbit want to rethink his life decisions.

The Knight

Name: Sir Painhammer

Occupation: Celebrity Sports Personality

Attack Type: Melee

Favorite Weapon: Huge Greatsword

Gets His Good Looks From: Mom

As a one-man media empire, Sir Edrick Painhammer has never met an endorsement deal he didn’t like.

The Mage

Name: The Earl of Evilosity

Occupation: Evil Wizard

Attack Type: Ranged

Favorite Cake: Devil’s Food’

Favorite Type of Domination: World

Beard Status: Living

Based on pure theoretical ability alone, the Earl Of Evilosity may be the absolute worst mad scientist in this or any kingdom.
