The Xbox 360 has received it’s price cut in the US already and so far it seems to be doing exactly what was expected of it with huge sales spikes being recorded all over.
Now it looks like the UK is about to receive a price cut of it’s own with the large Woolworths* chain advertising a price cut of 30 pounds on each unit. Bringing the Arcade down to 129 and the Pro to 159.
The Wii retails for 179 in the UK.
Currently there is nothing to suggest that this isn’t just a price cut by the store themselves but it would make sense for Microsoft to try and retake the UK before Christmas as well.

*Woolworths in the UK is nothing like our local Woolies, it’s closer to a CNA I would say.
