The oddly famous Michael Pachter has come out with his April predictions and if he is remotely correct then we are going to see the Wii completely dominate America again with around 480 000 units sold with the 360 coming in second with 275 000 units.
However the big story doing the rounds this morning is that the PS3 is still falling further behind with predicted sales of 175 000.
Mind you it’s not all doom and gloom for Sony as they have now taken the top spot in Japan for 10 weeks running and if you look at it in that way then the 360 is the only console in the race that is incapable of winning in a popular region.
But since all three consoles are selling reasonably well do we really care if one outsells the other? Of course we do…

100 000 of the 360s sold are replacement consoles, which makes them even with the PS3 on new consoles sold :biggrin:
