The Electronic Entertainment Expo – E3 to those in the know – is the year’s biggest gaming event. It’ll be a showcase for publishers and developers to ply their wares – and stir up interest in their upcoming catalogues. The show kicks off on 15 June, although Microsoft will be unveiling a bunch of Natal-related goodies on the 13th.

Want to know what games will be on show? IGN have compiled a list of all the games and hardware that have been confirmed for the show. E3 will of course also be home to shocks and surprises – but we’ll have to wait and see what those might be. Hit the jump, take a look at the list and let us know what you’re most excited to see.

Maybe Hideo finally realised his mistake, and decided having a MGS game on the xbox would require far too many disks? Can you really blame them? Merely the intro requires you too change disks 5 times. :silly:

Maybe Hideo realised that a MGS game is impossible for the xbox360, because it would take far too many disks. Supposedly, the intro alone would have required xbox gamers to change disks 5 times!! :silly:

/oddly my first comment was lost to the ether! 🙁

What about Team Ico’s “The Last Guardian”? I hope it’ll get a show at E3.

It seems like this is just their list of games that have been announced and will appear at E3 this year.

I have no idea how IGN could miss two of the biggest reveals at last years E3 (Last Guardian & MGS Rising)

“As we near the show, we get a better sense of what games we’ll see. IGN’s Big Games List compiles all the titles confirmed by publishers or developers. There are plenty more games we know or expect — this list isn’t for those. These are the things that have been promised publicly. Check the list. Come back to it often. And if you want even more info on what to expect from this year’s event, head over to IGN’s E3 2010 destination for anything and everything related to the show.”

The list actually gets updated, so Im sure between now and June they will have realised that they’re missing a few tiny, not mentionworthy games.
