The short video after the jump has an interview with Stig Asmussen and Steve Caterson from Santa Monica Studios, and not only do they discuss segments of God of War III that didn’t make it into the game, but they show them as well.
With any major game development process, there is always the reality that some things are just going to have to be cut – usually due to time constraints.
As sad as it might be, it has to happen in order to create a solid final product and as the God of War III developers will tell you in the video below, it usually helps to create a tighter experience.

That looks so cool!!!
Ahh shit i guess they wont be releasing this as DLC like they said they might since this video was released 🙁
Anyways at least we should be seeing an announcement for their new game next year at E3. I wouldnt be surprised if they give GOW a rest and experiment with Heavenly Sword 2 since Sony own that IP.

But do they explain why they went for the garbage ending they decided on in GOW3? Everything after the wicked 2D fight with Zeus was terrible in my most humble opinion.
