Warning: Here’s a ton of new Pokémon Sun and Moon spoilers

Look, I’m not even going to start this article with my usual schtick that ends with a funny third thing (trademark pending) Pokémon Sun and Moon. Out next month. But thanks to that demo that just went live, a ton of spoilers have been leaked. So consider yourself warned. If you want to jump into the game fresh, I really really recommend that you don’t scroll past this image.

 

 

 

 

Alright, you still here? Well you were warned then. Okay! First up, the final evolutions for the starter pocket monsters in Pokémon Sun and Moon. As was leaked earlier this year, here’s what your choice of Pokémon will look like when it gets to stage three of its evolutionary cycle, thanks to data-miner TKOWl via VG247:

Over on Kotaku, more Ultra Beasts have been uncovered thanks to DSX8. They look rather odd, more alien than Pokémon and there are apparently eight of the fellas in total:

And for the big piece of news. According to Kaphotics, Pokémon Sun and Moon will have around 800 Pokémon in total according to the Pokédex. There are some limitations to this however, as not all Pokémon are in the demo and Totem Pokémon can’t be viewed either. There’s also talk in the video of pre-evolution legendaries, based on Solgaleo and Lunala.

It’s not the first time that Game Freak has slipped up like this. A couple years back, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire also released a demo that data-miners and terrible writers (Hi mom!) waxed lyrical about, spoiling the contents of what was inside that pair of games. Mega Evolutions were just the tip of the iceberg then, as hackers found a lot of data within.

Then again, at the rate that Nintendo has been revealing Pokémon, I’m a bit surprised to see that there was still so much more to uncover.
