Watch Dogs will arrive before June

Broken clock

Watch Dogs, the much anticipated next-gen launch game that was delayed into 2014, is closer to a release date. No, we don’t actually have a day or month that you can mark on your calendar, but we have some seasonal guidelines.

When Ubisoft did their conference call, they confirmed that the title is still on track to launch on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC somewhere between April and June. Great, so we have a three month window of opportunity. It’s way better than nothing, and we still aren’t even sure if the Xbox One will be launched in South Africa by then (although rumor has it that it won’t).

The Nintendo fans among you may have noticed that the Wii U isn’t on the list of confirmed platforms for Watch Dogs in the April-June session. Many are worried that it won’t be coming to Nintendo’s struggling console, with rumors abounding after it was left off Nintendo’s release calendar. However, Ubisoft has confirmed that it will be coming to Wii U, just a bit later:

We made the difficult decision to further delay the release of Watch Dogs on Wii U to focus the team’s resources where they could have the broadest possible benefit for both our customers and Ubisoft

Excellent! So Watch Dogs will be coming to all platforms eventually. Now we just need a set date so that I can put it on my calendar and stare at it to help build my personal hype. I really am excited about this game, although the constant delays certainly are worrying. And hey – how will this affect their movie schedule?

Is it just me or is there some kind of American anti-NSA banner at the bottom of the screen?

So give us your name, email address, location, (and allow cookies) so that we can say no to information harvesting…. yeah… how about no!

Lol, jip *put’s on tinfoil hat* For all we know this was started by the NSA to make the data harvesting go faster. And the irony is that even if it isn’t, the NSA would just get access to the database and get all the information.

Like I always say. Be careful what information you post on the internet!

Yeah. We put that there. It’s for today only. As an entity that exists pretty much purely on the internet, Net Neutrality is something we really believe in.

The internet is on its way to becoming a very walled garden, and it’s something we can’t abide. You may think it’s an “american” thing, but it affects us all. the legislation currently being toyed with would empower the highest bidder to control access to information on the internet. It would enable ISP’s to have control over what we say and do online.

We’re fighting for an open internet.

Already signed the petition, they know to much already. Might be time to look into that Tor browser.

Yes and No… They can still track you with TOR … Rather use encrypted connections, Peerblock, FW etc

In fact, the Americans, by law, are allowed to dig more into what say, I, do online then American citizens, if I do things on American based or controlled Servers.
