The Watch_Dogs graphics controversy rages ever on – but as I’ve said before I don’t care too much for that. what I want most out of any open world game is for its world to be a believable one. A new, unofficial showcase of the PC version of the game shows that its digital Chicago certainly does seem alive.
The video comes courtesy of German site PCGamesHardware, who posted the video up. It details some of the effects you’ll see in the game, specifically relating to Wind, Water and Lighting. We’re still waiting for Earth and Fire.
The video apparently comes from the PC version, running at 1080p – and shows things like dynamic weather, sexy water, NPC’s drinking pina coladas and getting caught in the rain and the wind blowing stuff around. Mostly though, it shows a city that looks alive – which is one of the issues I have with inFamous: Second Son. It’s a “next gen” game, but it feels like you’re in less of a living city than you got with Grand Theft Auto V.
Graphical downgrade or not, Watch Dogs on the PC is looking pretty hot right now. As far as the console versions go? According to the game’s creative director, Jonathan Morin , the PS4 version is coming along nicely.

First they laugh with their next gen consoles about how they can now play games at 1080p @60FPS. Once this has been proven to not be the case, they all cry that “graphics aren’t everything you know!”.

Well my graphics card is worth x2 more than a ps4, only reason i bought it is for pirated games. At the end of the day nobody gives a fuck, its the same game anyways

Uhhh Guys it’s the wrong video , what happened was Ubisoft sent over PS4 footage instead of PC , what your actually seeing is PS4 again

I will simplify for the thick headed common folks.
Option 1: Get a mid-high end pc where you can play all the top games in their glorious states(everything 1080p60 with maximum details and more)
Option 2: Stick to your so called “next gen” and suffer the consequences (below 1080p at low to normal details at 30fps)
Save up and join the master race. You wont regret it.
