Where to find every single Pokémon in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Where's Wailmer?

I’m on a quest, to be the best, like no one ever was. Unfortunately, that involves being wonder-traded yet another f***ing Zigzagoon. But I digress. After six generations, the Pokémon games now feature very, very diverse wilderness areas. What was once an area populated by Tentacool and Magikarp now features Frillish, Remoraid and more f***ing Zigzagoon. I really, really hate that Pokémon. If you’re looking to catch ‘em all like I am, then here’s a handy guide on where to find your favourite pocket monsters.

Reddit user Bobdor created this map for Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby, showing not only where to catch all of the available Pokémon, but how to as well in certain instances. You can embiggen the pic above for the full scale resolution, or hit the original link right here. If you’re still busy with last year’s Pokémon X and Y, then here’s another handy map from the dedicated trainer:

I usually hit the net for route info, but maps like this are indispensable. My own quest to catch ‘em all is also going rather well right now. I’ve caught most of the legendaries in Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby, and only have two more lake spirits to go, Uxie and Azelf. I’ve captured both legendary dog trios, Kyurem, Reshiram and other hard to find boss monsters. I still need to transfer my Articuno from Y, so that I can start trading it off for the rest of the legendary birds.

Right now however, I’ve been on a fossil binge. I’ve got every single Fossil Pokémon ever released, and am busy levelling them up. They’re one of my favourite subsets of Pokemon, with Tyrantrum being a particular Pokémon that I’ve levelled up massively in the past. Anyway, enough waffling. Gotta catch ‘em all!

  1. I know how you feel Darryn (With the wonder-trade) i try and trade away the hard to find pokemons that only appear in the mirage spots and get zigzagoons and magicarps in return. Last night i got a magicarp from somebody and traded it away ASAP and got a bulbasaur, felt so bad about the trade (want to trade good pokemons for good pokemons) but OMG i got a bulbasaur. Got my 3DS a few weeks ago with pokemon AS, will try and get X/Y next year to catch them all.

LOVING THE GAME SOOOOO MUCH ATM!!!

I actually traded off a Boldore which had a trade requirement for evolving into a Gigaloth, so that someone could have a nice surprise. Got a Torchic from the other side. WAS SO SURPRISED!

So much hate for poor Zigzagoon, it does have one redeeming quality. It evolves into the best HM slave 🙂

Start working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life.

      This is what I do
