Wii Music just not working…

Miyamoto

Some journalists in San Francisco have been chatting to Shigeru Miyamoto about his new attempt at a cult games, Wii Music. However by all counts the game just isn’t working and it looks like Wii Music may just be the first Wii cult title to fail horribly.

I wasn’t aware of it but Wii Music was the first game ever shown on the Nintendo Wii at E3 2006 and you have to wonder why it has taken so long to actually get released?

Miyamoto has himself admitted that he doesn’t know why the game isn’t being picked up by the mainstream, he says that everyone who plays it has responded positively but they are really struggling to get people to understand what the game is about.

Well if you have been subjected to the Wii Music video’s you wouldn’t  be surprised at all, the game looks terrible and I have absolutely no desire to even give the thing a try. But in the interest of fairness I will see if I can scrounge a copy from somewhere and give a more knowledgeable opinion.

I play the Wii!!!! And even if the majority of games are for casual gamers or plain bad, we’re going to have the Conduit, MadWorld, new Zelda, Metroid Prime, and others which are amazing games.
I’ve also tried Wii Music, and honestly it’s not as bad as I thought and is actually pretty fun… for 30 min…
