Great yet another analyst with a different opinion. There people think that the Wii will be the best selling console for the next two years but have not said who will win in the long term.
The market researchers at IDC have issued a new report predicting that the Wii will both outship and outsell the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 during 2007 and 2008. While Sony and Microsoft fight it out for high-tech and hi-def supremacy, which as IDC implies means that “the two gaming manufacturers target the same hardcore/enthusiast gamer to dominate the market,” Nintendo is taking a different approach.
So now everyone has had their predictions and everyone has come up with a different answer. I think it is safe to say there is no one console that is going to stand head and shoulders above any other.
