superbru

Greetings you lot of Brus. Time for another update on this ‘ere SuperBru.

First things first, let us take a gander at the top 31 (position 20-31 is so damned close, I’ve included them as well. Also we just HAD to mention the latest yellow-capper)
toplayers1topplayers2

Just a reminder of the wonderfully massive Random draw at the end of April, and the winner of this will be the recipient of the soon-to-be-released Rugby Challenge 3 (on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One), plus a Springbok jersey signed by none other than Eben Etzebeth! WOOOO! There’ll also be something special for the ultimate winner when the Superbru concludes.

If you are already playing in another pool or have yet to enter, be sure to go to www.superbru.com/superrugby and join up! Search for the pool code westloaf (yes, westloaf!) or search for the Lazygamer pool

Also remember, remember that Rugby Challenge 3 is out this Friday, see what Geoff has to say about it here.
Until next time, sayonara!

hehe, it could be funny to see the winner wear a shirt the same size Eben Etzebeth does

Maybe you should read properly in the first place, neither the original or the article had that problem

It is sometimes very difficult to read your own words, particularly on a screen. Quite often we do not actually read, it is a complex combination of memory and pattern recognition, so we see what we meant to write sometimes, not what is there. Weird stuff.

I, for example, need to print things out as a final draft to find some basic mistakes. Or, I read something I wrote six months ago and I now actually read it properly (not memory, too long ago) and I find silly mistakes.

BBC brain workings documentaries are awesome!

Mind you, I’m comparing my original to the above….and Geoff changed a few things, well, rightfully so, he is the editor, and it is his site, so yeah

So what you’re saying is that you expect Geoff to make mistakes like that.
            Did you see that Geoff?

At least he fix the Eben Elizabeth to Eben Etzebeth. That has to count for something.

Would have been SO funny if the winner thought it was Etzebeth and upon receiving the jersey, finds out that it is a granny-jersey ala Queen E

We should let Eben know about that “slip up” and send him the Admiral’s address to personally get an apology.

Interesting table. Several players jumped 10 or positions in one round of rankings updates. Is that the result of big scores being guessed correctly or meticulous play and understanding of the game dynamics, team forms, which teams perform better against other teams (result of play style and other factors) and all that? Skill or luck or a mixture?

A couple of things, (good vs bad perf is the easy answer), but most likely since the top bunch are SO closely together in points, that any brief points gain/drop results in massive position shifts
