Toy Soldiers: Cold War is Signal Studios’ sequel to their smash hit tower defense game Toy Soldiers. As its name suggests, it’s centered around the cold war and the pesky vodka-swilling soviets who wish to impose their brand of socialism. Focused on the last bit of the decades-long tension between the U.S.A. and the U.S.S.R, it’s got a decidedly 80’s motif that evokes memories of Remo, Rambo, Top Gun, GI Joe, The Final Countdown and Commando and is quite clearly targeted towards children of that era.
