Worms attack PSN – It's a good thing

The German censor board has once again broken the news of an upcoming title, they do really need to get a handle on that to be honest.

Someone was browsing the local censor boards website, as you do, and stumbled across the image above. It seems that the psychotic worms are finally going to be given their chance to shine on the PlayStation 3.

Worms was released onto the Xbox Live Arcade in 2007 and has since then become one of the biggest selling titles to date and a huge fan favourite so it’s no surprise to see it popping up on Sony’s big black machine.

After this image was released Team 17 were happy to confirm that Worms is indeed on it’s way to the PSN and Studio Director Martyn Brown had this to say

“Yes, we can confirm that Worms is coming to PSN soon,”

He then goes on to stick it to Microsoft by stating…

“…it’s been fully optimised for the platform (including 1080p) and contains a lot more content than the original XBLA launch simply because there was no size limitation.”

Keep your eyes peeled for Worms appearing on the network sometime in March this year
