X-Men Origins: Wolverine – Gameplay Video

I have only been keeping half an eye on the upcoming X-Men game as I am not yet convinced that they will be able to implement the awesomeness that is the X-Men into a video game.

The video above is some secret spy footage from a journo’s cellphone and as such may be taken down at any time. However it would serve the developers to leave it up as it really does show the game in a good light.

Being able to rip a guy out of a helicopter and shove him through the rotor blades satisfies all the primal check boxes a game may have.

Violent, gruesome and just plain cool…

Though having said that the rest of the game is looking a little to scripted and I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of it will simply be quick time events.

3 years of work by Raven Studios, Unreal Engine, Wolverine, Ultra Violent. I think this one looks good for a movie game release. (P.S Raven was working on this game before the movie was even announced.)
