Eidos has announced that the Xbox 360 will be receiving two exclusive episodes for it’s upcoming action platformer, Tomb Raider: Underworld.
These are full episodes and not just levels and between the two of them will add an extra 6 hours of gameplay to the title.
Beneath the Ashes will be released around about Christmas time with Lara’s Shadow coming out in early 2009.
The episodes will be delivered through Xbox Live and pricing has yet to be announced… you can check out more details through the link.

Does this make anyone else that if it wasn’t for live being popular this content would’ve made it into the original game anyway?

maybe, but then the game would probably be delayed as the content must be created, like Lara’s Shadow for example which is only comming in 2009.
it is quite lame, its like goving the players half a game for full price these days and making them pay again to get the other half.
