Major Nelson has confirmed this morning the already wide spread news of a Xbox 360 price cut…
The new prices are as follows
Xbox 360 Elite $479.99 now $449.99
Xbox 360 System $399Â Â now $349.99
Xbox 360 Core $299.00 now $279.00
With the special edition Halo 3 console coming in at $399. However these prices are only for the USA and nothing has been announced for anywhere else yet.
I have sent an email to Microsoft SA asking for local information and will let you know when I get a substantial response…
So far all we have is
Today we are announcing a price reduction in the U.S. We will announce other regional price decreases at the appropriate time.
If they could drop the Premium to under R3000 it would be amazing but it will more likely drop to around R3200 with the Core dropping to R2200…. So close to mass market pricing and yet so far…
