Xbox 360 shipments fail to reach target

The CFO of Microsoft, Chris Liddell, admitted in a conference call yesterday that the Xbox 360 has missed it’s targets.

Originally expected to sell 12 million by the end of June instead it has only shipped 11.6 million.

According to most estiamtes the 360 has sold between 10.1 million and 11.3 million

So if you go with the second estimate they are very close, however the first one is quite a way off….

Either way they missed… So it is not doing better than expectations that is for sure.
