Either the webslaves at Xbox.com were playing around with Photoshop or they have accidently let the cat out of the bag that Ubisoft’s upcoming Ghost Recon Future Soldier will be a Kinect enhanced title.
IGN snapped the above picture last night where we can clearly see the Kinect branding but it is important to also note that nothing is mentioned about Kinect in the features section on the site.
However when I went to check Xbox.com now to see for myself you can see that the boxart has now been replaced and we have no more mention of Kinect.
Could Ghost Recon Future Soldier be the first hardcore Kinect title to be released at E3?Or was this an innocent mistake from an over enthusiastic employee?
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I am 90% convinced that Ghost Recon will have some Kinect functionality tacked on as that would explain why it was taken back into development for enhancements and why we haven’t heard anything about it for such a long time.
E3 starts in just under 2 weeks and we’ll then know for sure whether this rumour is true or not, but for now let’s chat about whether we would want Kinect integrated into a hardcore FPS or whether it should just stick with it’s casual friends.
