Dust Row

May is a month wherein some big events occurred on our planet. World War 2 finally ended on May 8 back in 1945 with an Allied victory, May 25 is Towel Day for the fans of 42 and yours truly was born in this month once several catastrophic prophesies came to pass. And now, it’s also a good month for free games.

This month, Xbox Live Gold account holders can snag Saints Row The Third and Dust: An Elysian Tail for a free download. Not bad Microsoft, not bad at all. Saints Row 3 is pretty much Grand Theft Auto on all manner of hallucinogenics as it paints the town purple, but is a worthwhile sandbox game nonetheless.

As for Dust: An Elysian Tail, that’s a tight and beautiful game that has plenty of nostalgia value for anyone who grew up on 2D platformers. Dust is most likely the lesser played of the two games on offer, so don’t miss out on a chance to take this for a spin.

So when are they available exactly? Dust: An Elysian Tail is available from May 1 until May 16, while you can assemble your crew in Saints Row 3 from May 16-31. Hopefully June will see two more solid games as well offered with Games for Gold. Saint’s Row 3 may be older an game that we’ve seen already on PS Plus, but it’s a good game nonetheless.

Eish. As a spammer you should at least try a little harder. You know, add a few more words and that sort of thing?
