You’re pretty much screwed in this Dying Light mod

Dying-Light-zombies

Here in the Lazygamer office, we’re digging Dying Light. It’s a rough game, make no mistake, but one with plenty of charm. Whether you’re free-running, free-climbing or free-crapping your pants at night, the game is very much a decent survival-horror experience with a strong emphasis on survival. It’s also got a bit of a steep learning curve, ensuring that you don’t approach the zombie apocalypse like an ECW version of Wrestlemania. And this one mod for the game is about to make it even more difficult.

With mod tools on the way and the option to craft them now unlocked, the game has become a hotbed for fixes and tweaks. One such tweak in particular however, increases the general aggro nature of the walking dead, in the Super Aggressive Zombies Mod (via Gameranx):

If you can’t watch the video above, then here’s what you’re missing out on: The general zombie horde, their aggressiveness amplified to 28 Days Later levels and given the parkour skills of Spider-Man. Did I mention that they also happen to have a much longer line of sight? Yeah, you’re pretty much screwed.

Needless to say, it’s pretty much not a great idea to try this mod if you happen to be new to the game. As far as ideas go, that is a bad one. In fact it’s a twelve-storey bad idea with a magnificent entrance hall, carpeting throughout, 24-hour portage, and an enormous sign on the roof, saying ‘This Is a Bad Idea’. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to attempt to go outside tonight in Dying Light, and make it out of the front door of the tower.
