Midweek Mouth-off: An Expected Movie Journey?

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey – the first of *cough* 3 wallet-milking Hobbit films – opens today, and we want to know how you feel about it?

ill you be watching it in 2D, 3D, or, if you have the opportunity, the brand new HFR 3D format? Do you plan to watch it multiple times on the big screen? Or, do you have little to no interest in returning to Middle-Earth? Where do you stand?

I’ll watch it, have the box set of LotR. But I think I’ll wait for the DVD to be honest.

I was going to watch it on the Big Screen but no HFR 48 FPS goodness here in Cape Town. So I’ll give it a skip.

Firstly, I think there is enough to fill 3 films with more Middle-Earth stuff, so I’m glad we’re getting 3. Watching in 2D to not be distracted by the technical shenanigans and the fact that we won’t get the HFR in Cape Town leaves me with no other choice.

Also, probably watch it multiple times. Just because.

I’ll watch it, but only because I’m a movie nerd….
I’ll probably see it in 3D as the place where I go to is only showing it in 3D for the first few weeks. I’ll hold off on how I feel about it being 3 movies until after I’ve watched it though.
