Often if a gaming magazine or website is given an advanced copy of a game they are asked to sign a NDA (non-disclosure agreement), these NDA’s will then have expiry dates on them and after that time you will be able to talk about what you saw.
Well obviously today is the date that Gears of War 2 reviews are allowed out as N4G currently has about 20 stories relating to Gears 2 reviews.
Unfortunately here in Africa we are not trusted enough yet to not break the NDA on such a big title so we are nearly as much in the dark as yourselves.
Which is nice in one way as we are just as hyped for this weekend as everyone else but in every other way it sucks.
To confirm what everyone knows already, Gears of War 2 is getting great scores and will easily be a contender for game of the year. But we knew that anyway.

Gears 2
If anything else wins GOTY, it’ll make me sick to my stomach.

what’s the point of a review NDA when they hold the review back but they copy the game and put it on-line ??
(ok, only 3 more days to hate the pirates that are already playing gears 2)
