Call of Duty 5 has already become a polarising game online with many people commenting that it is purely COD4 set in World War 2.
While this comment may be justified it doesn’t necessarily mean that COD5 is bad, if it improves on COD4 then it is a worthy successor to COD4. However the biggest unknown that we have had is the single player campaign. Would it be any good and would it be worth picking up the game for this part only?
Well IGN is the first site out of the gates with their review and it looks like Treyarch haven’t dropped the ball on this one, the entire game sounds solid and with an ending score of 9.2 it’s well worth adding to your shopping list.

This game doesn’t even come close to COD4. Got it yesterday, looks gorgeous, sounds gorgeous – but yeah I’m over those goddam weapons!
