Fantasy Flight Games has announced the Epic C-ROC Cruiser Expansion Pack for X-Wing

This news might not ping high on everyone’s radar, but if you’re listening closely, that sound you’re hearing is the deep, resigned sigh of X-Wing players as they once again reach into their wallets for yet another expansion.

As part of the X-Wing Epic expansion wave, Fantasy Flight is bringing a new addition to the Scum and Villainy ships we initally saw in Wave VI. The Scum and Villainy faction – a third faction that isn’t the highly recognisable Alliance or Empire – was introduced back at the beginning of 2015. Since then, we’ve seen one new Scum and Villainy ship introduced in each expansion wave, but it’s finally time to let the villains have their own epic ship: the C-ROC Cruiser. Let’s take a look at what you get with that $70 price tag.

C-ROC Cruiser Expansion Pack for X-Wing

The C-ROC Cruiser Expansion Pack comes with the C-ROC Cruiser miniature (not that it’s as small as “miniature” implies), an additional M3-A Interceptor miniature with alternate paint scheme, seven ship cards, thirty upgrade cards, plus all the manoeuvre dials, damage decks, tokens, and game pieces that you need to fly the ships. In addition to the physical components, the expansion also comes with a new campaign for Cinematic Play, which involves your C-ROC invoking the wrath of either the Empire or the Alliance.

Specifically designed to be used in the game’s Cinematic Play and Epic Play formats, the C-ROC cruiser is too big for the Standard Play format of regular X-Wing games. But with this new Epic ship, the Scum and Villainy faction will finally be able to step up and pit their strengths against the other factions on bigger playing fields. As the smallest faction, and most underrepresented in tournaments, this is a highly anticipated expansion release that will bring new opportunities to those more roguish elements of the galaxy.

I’m looking for the original die cast version of the Xwing starfighter , not those small peepee ones, the large scale size ones,
