Rick and Morty-themed Clue will hit tabletops in August

What was I just saying about variant themes on classic tabletop games? Well, Adult Swim’s runaway success of a show, Rick and Morty, is getting its own themed version of Clue. Which I can’t stop thinking of as Cluedo, but that’s probably just me. And everyone else not in North America.

Moving on… Rick and Morty: Back in Blackout is produced by the fine folks over at USAopoly, and includes a custom illustrated game board, 6 custom sculpted characters and more. Just in time for Season 3’s debut, Back in Blackout will start shipping in August 2017. No word on local availability yet, but you can take a gander at the game below.

The plans to Rick’s portal gun have been stolen! It’s up to Rick, Morty, Summer, Jerry, Beth and Mr. Poopybutthole to get them back. They must find out WHO stole the plans, WHERE they are hiding, and WHAT item they used to succeed in the heist. It’s an inter-dimensional mystery!

Clue doesn’t look as nice as Cluedo though.
