This week in eSports we’ve seen c7e crowned as the Ready.Set.GO! Champions, we interviewed GamersXtreme, MSSA gives South Africans the chance to become referees at the IeSF, Halo 4 semi finals this weekend, 2013 Do Gaming League details announced and Energy eSports launch with huge sponsors and a promising line-up.
Bravado and –c7e is ready to get ready and set in the Ready.Set.GO! Cup finals, the StarCraft 2 World champion has been crowned, GamersXtreme wants to bring eSports to the Tuks campus and it’s a Geoff vs. Darryn halo 4 face-off this weekend.
This week in eSports StarCraft 2 has stolen the limelight once again, lots happening around the IeSF World Championships and South Africans take on the internationals in a racing sim.
eSports highlights this week include Robert ‘PandaTank’ Botha’s ESWC results and a video interview, MWEB’s League of Legends training program, the MSSA’s proposed calendar for 2013 and the Ready.Set.GO cup group stages closes
Robert Botha headed off to the ESWC and has started getting his game on, Bravado has also been crowned the SteelSeries Spring League Dota 2 champs while the Counter-Strike Ready.Set.GO cup hosted by Do Gaming has been cooking up a storm in the group stages.
The Do Gaming League has ended and this used to mean that eSports season is over, but this year, we continue with the Dota 2 SteelSeries Spring League, a brand new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive cup and the launch of some Medal of Honor: Warfighter local servers.
After a super eSports weekend at rAge it’s hard to believe that there’s still enough energy out there to compete even more, but evidently (maybe thanks to the mountain of Monster Energy drinks sponsored) there’s been other stuff happening.
